Mission Statement:
Invest Green believes that good stewardship isn’t just a catch phrase but a way of living and a way of conducting business. We strive to take good care of your hard earned assets and customize our strategies to meet your goals, with an emphasis on companies that strive to take good care of the environment. We also believe in practicing what we preach. Our office is painted with environmentally friendly paint and we only use energy efficient lighting. All our business cards, brochures and collateral materials are printed using earth friendly dyes on recycled paper.
Because so much of our business involves printed matter from prospectuses and proposals and illustrations to statements and reports, we actively encourage our clients to opt for electronic statements and delivery of prospectuses and reports.
Although almost everything we do can now be done electronically, meeting with clients is an important component of our business. Therefore we do not propose conducting all meetings with clients via conference call or e-mail. But since every trip we take in an automobile negatively impacts the environment, we are committed to trying to reduce the number of face-to-face visits made with a client during the course of building a relationship.
Socially responsible investing isn’t just a strategy but infuses the way we live our lives and conduct our business.
Mara DeFilipis joined Invest Green in 2007 from Merrill Lynch. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University, with a degree in Accounting.
As a Financial Advisor, Mara provides asset allocation strategies, socially responsible investment advisory services, retirement and education strategies and estate planning solutions. Although she does not give tax advice, she offers tax managed solutions, as well as assisting clients with estate planning issues. Her prime focus is on creating financial strategies that are funded with socially responsible investments, always keeping in mind the unique circumstances and goals of each individual client.
Mara is a long time Arizona resident and currently lives in Mesa, AZ with her son, Nicholas. She currently serves on the board of CASA and the Bay Area Green Chamber of Commerce, and is the Founder of the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce.

Finding that there existed a great disconnect between socially responsible investors and the industry that is supposed to help them, Paul began dedicating himself to finding and serving these people. He enjoys getting to know his clients and creating strategies to meet their needs.
Paul is a native of Phoenix who graduated with a A Social Science degree from Radford University, with graduate work in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. He enjoys writing, and has made a living as an artist. He lives in downtown Phoenix with his wife Keri and daughter Eleri.
